This
is a new service we're proud to launch .... Get our Webparamedics
to check over your site for free.
Unbelievable as it may seem, nearly half of our clients have come
to us because their web presence was so poorly done that they were
too embarrassed to launch or promote it! This typically happens
when ill-informed clients fall victim to cut-throat prices, outdated
“cookie-cutter” designs, archaic features, or inexperienced web
designers.
Building a web presence is easier said than done, and just because
someone has a copy of Front Page doesn't mean that person is qualified
to care for your company's web site. Over the last four years, we
have built and maintained web sites for dozens of different clients
in all kinds of different industries........... Talk
to us now!!
We have also worked extensively with advertising agencies on a
“behind the scenes” basis to help them expand their range of services
and better serve their clientele. Aside from dramatic boosts in
site traffic and activity from our efforts, the sites we've built
have generated increased revenues for their owners.
What's the diagnosis?
As with any brick and mortar establishment, your web site needs
to attract visitors through elegant design, a clear presentation,
and onsite appeal. If your floors were cluttered and your walls
in desperate need of repair, what kind of message would you send
to potential customers? Make no mistake about it; this is the same
impression visitors would have of your business if they found your
web site in similar disarray.
In days of old (of course, we’re only talking a few years ago
by Internet standards), having a sub-standard web presence was generally
accepted and excused. But in today’s day and age, when quality web
sites are becoming more and more prevalent and easier to obtain,
visitors will no longer pardon a poor web site.
Whether or not you decide to use our services, here are some useful
tips you can employ to perform surgery on your own web site. These
are some of the same strategies we use when building or improving
a client's web presence.
Keep your site up to date. A site that never changes will become
stale and certainly won’t inspire anyone to return. We will work
with you to add a special feature or two (such as articles, archives,
events calendars, or more) to inspire repeat visits giving you added
exposure and impressions.
Make sure your site looks professional. Your web site not only
has to help you sell your products and services, but your business
as well. Your web site will absolutely help shape people’s perception
of your business, and a sloppy or shoddy web presence will only
detract from this. We will make sure that we go above and beyond
expectations by putting our experience in design, development, technical
application and online marketing to work for you.
K.I.S.S or ..Keep it simple Stupid!! - Make sure
your site is simple in function so that people can easily find what
they are looking for. We will make sure your web site is designed
to effortlessly guide visitors through each phase of your online
presence and experience.
Be careful with new bells and whistles. While some java technology
is fun to look at and musical chimes seem great at first, most of
your visitors will find them annoying or “old school”. If a special
whirly-bird feature has nothing to do with your business, then you
don’t need it!
Keep it navigable. A poorly designed web site
with dozens of confusing buttons and scattered links can become
a confusing and irritating maze that will result in frustrated visitors.
Frustrated visitors will refuse to struggle with your site’s layout
and they will ultimately leave with the click of a mouse. We ensure
quick and easy site navigation with a combination of navigation
bars, embedded links and image links.
Keep it consistent. When planning and building
your web site, devise a common theme or “template” that all web
pages inherit. This consistency not only saves valuable development
time, but it also pleases visitors with its familiarity.
Keep it clean. Web pages should be simple, yet informative and uncluttered,
yet engaging. Throwing too much information at your visitors will
only confuse them. Throughout the development process, we provide
some breathing room for their eyes to help ensure that your text
is read, not skipped.
Open a line of communication. Web visitors are
easily distracted and your site risks being forgotten if you don’t
stay in the forefront of their minds. Some strategies to encourage
communication include an online newsletter, updated events, an online
contact form or engaging monthly content such as articles.
All web sites are not created equal. You need a professional. You
